Djing in Bay Area Clubs since the age of 19, he draws inspiration for his events and for his music from classic Chicago and Detroit tracks with a fusion of sounds and percussion that showcase his Hispanic heritage. His music has been supported by the likes of J. Worra, Dominico Scavone, Music On, and Paco Osuna.
With experience playing in some of the biggest nightclubs in the Bay Area and beyond, his style has been a perfect fit for shows at Nationally Renown Venues such as: The Midway, Halcyon, 1015 Folsom as well as locally known clubs like: Myth Day & Night Club, Reverb, and the Continental.
Other venues Dez has played at include the Capitol in Bend, Oregon; Opaline in Portland, Oregon; Stratus in Portland, Oregon; The Hideout in Riverside, CA; as well as multiple pop up pool parties and day parties across San Francisco & The South Bay.
Dez Castillo’s funky sound and high energy sets have led him to open and play direct support for industry Heavy Hitters such as; Chris Stussy, Sosa UK, Wade, Dombresky, Redtape, Classmatic, Crusy, Tony Romera, JSTJR, Detlef, Franklyn Watts, Max Styler + many more. Known for delivering unforgettable nights for fans and lovers of house music, his sets are typically described as euphoric and high energy, all the while telling a story that is cohesive yet unique.
